Portfolio

Artists we’ve worked with

Alongside South West regional breakthrough artists such as Naylee and Oscar Nash artists have included Decca/Universal’s ‘The Longest Johns’, classical legend ‘Katherine Jenkins’, international multi award-winning ‘Eric Bibb’, Devon’s own ‘Naylee’, BBC ‘All Together now’ winner ‘Michael Rice’, ‘Eric Redd’, ‘Lisa Williams’, ‘Reiss Harrison’ and Against Habit’s UK chart smash ‘Blurred Vision’.

For songwriters who don’t have a band/production team behind them, we offer a specialist service which has become our trademark. International breakthrough acts Lisa Williams, Reiss Harrison, L-Ray, Mark Race and Clara Bond are all testament to that service. For all the above artists we turned their initial acoustic demos into full release commercial projects – Mark being subsequently signed with Sony.

Not just restricted to rock/pop, we have a growing portfolio of Hip Hop/Rap/Dance/crossover artists such as Consept & D6ix – producing each track bespokely in-house.

Studio options

Three ways to record

Producer at the desk in the studio under the exposed timber roof

Asaphs Loft

Situated in the heart of Devon in Newton Abbot, Asaphs Loft is a place where creativity and musical imagination combine and projects become alive. A place where both established musicians and newcomers are supported by the team to produce the sound they dream of. Open vaulted ceilings, cosy and creative vibe, mixture of classic analogue and industry standard digital equipment. Many artists who have a Logic Audio setup at home create collaboratively between home and the studio – it’s never been easier to achieve your audio goals.

Emmanuel Chapel

Alongside our Music Production Tuition sessions, the Chapel is a great location for more open recordings such as choirs. Much less controlled than Asaphs Loft for voiceover and spoken word but a superb choice for big sounding drums!

We partner with our parent company ‘ThriveTech Learning Ltd (opens in a new tab)’ to make up to 12x MacBook Pro computers available as part of our music production tuition sessions and courses – all with their own professional headphones and condenser microphones.

Location Recording

We have invested in a fully portable professional recording setup whereby we can come directly to you and record. Whether you have a particular church hall that you love the acoustics of, are an educational facility that would like us to operate on-site or would simply welcome the opportunity to be creative where you are – we can come to you!

Alongside the popular church choir and school options – our portable location studio has become increasingly popular for those wishing to podcast professionally.

Equipment

The kit

Our studio equipment is an exciting balance of classic analogue and breakthrough industry-standard digital tools; our classic Vox AC30 and valve mic collection integrating seamlessly with Logic Pro and top plugins like Slate Digital, BFD and SSL Native.
